How It Works

Selling your property without a full-priced agent isn’t as hard as it may seem. We should know – we’ve helped thousands of sellers save big money since 2002. The process is really quite simple, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.

List Your Property

Once you complete your transaction, we’ll need three things from you to list your property: a signed listing agreement (gives us the legal right to list your property), a completed property description form (tells us the information the MLS needs to list your property), and at least one photo of the property.

Market Your Property

Once the property is live on the MLS, the marketing process begins. You’ll field showing requests, hold an open house (if desired), and answer potential b uyers’ questions. If you haven’t signed up for the full-service option, we’ll forward all calls and emails directly to you so you control the entire process.

Sign an Offer

Consider, negotiate, and ultimately agree to a purchase price w/ your prospective buyer; we’re here to provide documents and documentation services needed (and are happy to help our full-service clients negotiate and properly document their sale contract).

Save on Closing Costs

We’ll make sure the escrow company gets the commission right, saving you money; we’re constantly answering escrow agents’ emails checking “Is there REALLY no commission due to Congress Realty at closing?” Yes!

My brother recommended a flat fee service provider to sell my home. I researched several companies and went with Andrew at Congress Realty. It was well worth the money spent. Andrew responded in a timely manner, and the money we saved on the listing agent fee was spent on home improvements. Although I was skeptical at first, now that I've gone through this process once I would do it again. You do have to keep in mind that you are not getting full service attention unless you pay for it, but this worked out well for our family and I would recommend Andrew and Congress Realty again.

My wife and I decided to sell our home ourselves to avoid the large fee typical agents sell. When we signed up via a third party site, we were fortunate enough to get assigned to Andrew English and Congress Reality. When we got the email from Congress, they offered a full service option for a fraction of the cost that a typical realtor charged. We were skeptical, but after speaking with Andrew, he assured us they help you through the whole process. We just had to facilitate the showings. Sure enough, Andrew was super helpful and very responsive with everything!! We sold our house quickly and didn't have any problems. He gave us some great guidance when we had questions and walked us through the process. We will definitely use them again if we sell our house and will avoid the fee the third party charged us this time.
